The LaFontaines, a five-piece from Motherwell, are now desperately appealing for help to find another vehicle so they don't have to disappoint their fans.
Singer Ker Okan said: "Our van has always been a gift and a curse.
"It was a present , given to us by our old tour manager, and a curse, because it tends to break down everywhere we go.
"People are often in awe that it's actually road legal let alone functions as a mode of transport for the band.
"Fate has finally caught up with us though, leading to the crisis we find now ourselves in.
"We would never say the tour or any show for that matter is in jeopardy, as we firmly believe in the old saying, where there's a will there's a way.
"If anybody can offer their van or bus services at a reduced rate to five of the poorest guys in Motherwell, it would be greatly appreciated."
Bus problems aside the LaFontaines have just released their debut single, All She Knows, which marks the start of an exciting new chapter for the band.
It comes off the back of a successful summer, with festival appearances across the UK, including Belladrum, Crooked Ways, Redfest, Underground Festival and a headline appearance on the BBC Introducing Stage at T in the Park.
