BANK staff took over charity shops to raise cash for Save the Children.
Lloyds Banking Group workers ran both Glasgow's Save the Children shops for a day in a bid to raise as much money as possible.
The Glasgow teams sorted and sold stock with the aim to increase the income the shop made on the same date last year.
The teams were able to achieve their goal, with £1331 taken between the two shops, compared to £264 on the same day last year.
In order to make this happen, for the two weeks leading up to the event, colleagues were collecting interesting and high value stock and taking it to their nearest Save the Children store.
Graham Lindsay, Lloyds Banking Group Director of Responsible Business, said: "Our work with Save the Children highlights the group's ongoing commitment to the communities we serve. We are proud to be able to help Save the Children continue their great work and thank our colleagues who are fundraising with one common purpose in mind – to help give a child a better chance in life."
Douglas Rouse, Corporate Partnerships Director at Save the Children, said: "It's fantastic to see Lloyds Banking Group colleagues from across the UK giving up their time to volunteer in our charity shops. We are delighted with the success the teams have had and the funds that have been raised will enable us to help even more children."
