The Clyde Auditorium revealed the line up for its panto this year with John Barrowman and The Krankies set to star in Jack and the Beanstalk.
John will take on the leading role of Jack, the little boy who sells the family cow for a handful of magic beans, with The Krankies playing Farmer Trot and little Jimmy Trot.
A spokesman for the Clyde Auditorium revealed the panto will include some 3D special effects.
He said: "Pantomimes at the SECC have been so popular with audiences that Jack and the Beanstalk will feature brand-new and spectacular surprises.
"They will include a fantastic 3D giant – and an amazing journey through the giant's castle. And of course the pantomime will feature Daisy the pantomime cow."
Meanwhile, at the King's Theatre, Karen Dunbar is set to sparkle as the Fairy Godmother and Jenny Douglas stars as the soot-stained Cinders.
Stand-up comedian Des Clarke plays Buttons while King's regular Steven McNicoll takes on the role of Dandini.
Gavin Mitchell and Gordon Cooper play the Ugly Sisters while Kieran Brown plays the Prince and John Ramage returns to play Baron Hardup.
A King's spokesman said: "We are delighted to welcome back King's favourites Karen Dunbar and Gavin Mitchell and equally excited to be able to introduce Des and Jenny to their first ever panto.
"They'll be helping to put the finishing touches to what is an exceptional Scottish cast for Cinderella."
