ACTOR Benedict Cumberbatch, who starred in hit BBC series Sherlock, is to play Brian Epstein in a biopic about the famous Beatles' manager.
The film is being co-produced by Tom Hanks.
Epstein discovered the Beatles when they were still performing at the Cavern Club in Liverpool and got them their first record deal.
