AYRSHIRE rockers Biffy Clyro will headline one of Europe's biggest free music festivals later this month.
The band will join other top artists, including Bruno Mars and Calvin Harris, at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Derry, Northern Ireland.
Dizzee Rascal, Ellie Goulding, The Saturdays, and The Script are among more than 40 acts to play from Friday, May 24, to Sunday, May 26.
The ticket-only event has sold out.
Ben Cooper, controller of Radio 1, said the line-up would thrill thousands of lucky music fans.
