GLASOW'S most luxurious hotel has been sold.
Hotelier Peter Taylor confirmed the sale of the Blythswood Square hotel to a major US investor for an undisclosed sum.
Guests have included Beyonce and P Diddy.
Mr Taylor bought the former Royal Scottish Automobile Club with the dream of restoring it to its pre-war glory.
His project - opening the city's most luxurious hotel just as the world economy crashed - was plagued by technical and financial bad luck.
He said: "Blythswood Square has been our baby for a number of years. We have really enjoyed seeing it developed."
