POLICE are investigating after a man's body was found by a beach.
Two members of the public made the discovery near Portobello Promenade in Edinburgh at around 6.30am yesterday.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police can confirm the body of a man was found in the area of Portobello Promenade by two members of the public.
"Inquiries are at a very early stage."
