A BODY has been discovered on a beach in Greenock.
The grim discovery was made at around 11.10am on Wednesday at on the shore at Battery Park.
Emergency services were at the scene carrying out investigations.
Police Scotland said: "We have received a report of a body in Battery Park, Greenock."
