GOING to the shops will be an educational experience for families during the October school holidays.
Glasgow Science Centre's free BodyWorks exhibit is being given a temporary home at The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire, next week.
Centre boss Michelle McCabe said: "Ideal for a family audience, BodyWorks shows you just how amazing your body is, lets you put its flexibility, strength and endurance to the test and gives you a chance to find out just how hard your heart and lungs work - as well as telling you how you can stay healthy.
"Educational as well as entertaining, BodyWorks really is a great way to experiment, engage and enjoy learning about your body."
