A pipe bomb was discovered close to a primary school in Belfast.
The device was found in the Forthriver Road area in the north of the city, police said.
A suspicious object was discovered by a member of the public in a lane close to Forthriver Primary. Roads had to be closed while experts investigated.
A PSNI spokesman said: "Army technical experts attended and confirmed it to be a viable pipe bomb-type device."
