SEVENTY new jobs have been created at a car showroom near Braehead shopping centre.
The former InStyle furniture store has been converted into a Peter Vardy car showroom which will employ 70 staff.
The site overlooks the busy M8 motorway at Hillington on the outskirts of Glasgow and is adjacent to the Makro superstore.
Businessman Vardy said: "The car store is designed to be a destination dealership where people can take their time in comfortable surroundings to find the car of their dreams and have a huge amount of fun in doing so."
There are more than 400 cars on display at the showroom.
