A SOLDIER who lost both legs in an explosion in Afghanistan completed one of the UK's toughest sporting events and brought his pet dog along for company.
Private Stevie Richardson, of Tranent, East Lothian, took 4hrs 10mins to finish the 5km, cross-country Spartan obstacle race in Pencaitland.
He was joined by his German Shepherd dog, Sable.
