HONDURAS: A British man has been shot dead in Central America by a gang who stole his camera.
The man, named locally as tourist Kaya Omer, 33, was killed in the city of San Pedro Sula, in north west Honduras.
He was reportedly taking photographs in colonial Trejo, an area in the west of the city, when he was attacked by several men who stole his camera.
Witnesses told police he was shot dead as he ran away. Police and a forensic medical team were called to the scene and the man's body was taken for a post-mortem examination.
