GUESTS at the Lord Provost's Burns Supper raised more than £83,000 for charity.
The event, believed to be the largest in the world, was held in the City Chambers.
Around 800 people dug deep, with money going to the Lord Provost's Charity Funds, the Lord Provost's Malawi Fund and Glasgow's Helping Heroes.
Lord Provost Sadie Docherty was joined at the event by former Lord Provosts Michael Kelly, Pat Lally, Alex Mosson and Bob Winter.
Only An Excuse star Jonathan Watson entertained diners by reciting Tam O'Shanter while Rev Laurence Whitley of Glasgow Cathedral delivered the Selkirk Grace.
Glasgow 2014 chief executive David Grevemberg made the toast to the lassies and Professor Pamela Gillies, principal of Caledonian University, gave the reply.
