A BUS company has pledged to run a bus to Glasgow's new superhospital almost every minute.
McGill's also announced it wil operate a new Fastlink route, the F1, to provide another transport option for staff and visitors from May.
From May 11, McGill's will make route changes to its current 7, 21, 23 and 26 services to provide a direct transport link to Arrivals Square at the new hospital.
The four services will provide forty-six buses every hour from areas including, Paisley, Renfrew, Erskine, Partick, Inchinnan, Govan, Braehead and Glasgow city centre.
The new Fastlink service will provide a further twelve buses every hour between Glasgow city centre and the hospital from May 11.
McGill's F1 will operate from 6am until midnight, 7 days a week on dedicated bus infrastructure.
Ralph Roberts, managing director of McGill's said: "McGill's network changes for May are in response to the changing needs of our existing customer base. It is our hope that our high-frequency, high-quality service to and from the new SGH, will also encourage new customers to McGill's. We believe that working closely with the NHS, the new hospital will soon settle down and become a very well connected site."
