The festivities have been running all week, with activities both on the water and around the marina proving popular with locals and visitors.
Today is 'Get Active Saturday' at the festival, with families encouraged try out everything from wall climbing to canoeing.
Also on offer today is a fishing competition, archery, various tours and a host of stalls and events as the town comes to life in spectacular fashion.
The day will be rounded off in a blaze off colour as the fireworks display dominates the skyline this evening.
The week has been building up to tomorrow's 'Gala Sunday' where live stage performances by a range of acts will entertain the crowds, who can also enjoy the Fayre at The Cowgate and a children's fun day.
East Dunbartonshire Council leader, Rhondda Geekie, said: "I would encourage everyone to come along and join in the festivities."
