CANCER nurse Chloe Cowan officially opened Glasgow's newest charity shop.
She was the guest of honour at the opening of Cancer Research UK's store at 71 Queen Street. Chloe, 37, from Hamilton, who works in clinical trials at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, said she felt "honoured" to open the shop. Chloe said: "It's a great addition to Glasgow, especially for shoppers who love a bargain."
She checked out the latest donations - some pink shoes and a pink dress donated by X-Factor voice coach Yvie Burnett.
The new shop sells good quality clothes, accessories and household items, with all profits going to Cancer Research UK's life- saving work to help beat cancer.
Shop manager Ben Dale said: "There are lots of ways that local people can get involved and help our new shop, from visiting as customers or stepping forward as much-needed volunteers."
