SCOTS actor Peter Capaldi has been nominated for two Baftas.
He is up for the supporting actor gong for The House, and for best male in a comedy for his role as spin doctor Malcolm Tucker in The Thick Of It.
Danny Boyle's Olympic opening ceremony and Twenty Twelve, a spoof sitcom inspired by the Games, are both also in the running for the awards, which will be held in London on Sunday, May 12.
