FIVE cars have been damaged after gusts blew down a wall in Govan.
An MG, BMW and Porsche were among those damaged when a joining wall between Langlands Road Garage and Pirie Park Primary collapsed in the wind.
Staff at the garage were shocked to discover the damage shortly before 1pm this afternoon, but thankful nobody had been injured.
One staff member at the facility said: "The wall fell inwards, thankfully it fell into the yard and nobody was injured in the school or garage.
"It's a spacious yard for up to 20 cars, so some have been damaged by it but they're covered by insurance."
Fire and police crews rushed to the garage in Govan and worked to secure the area.
Due to the proximity of the school, fire crews made sure youngsters kept away from the site while police investigated the damage.
A police spokeswoman said: "Two cars were damaged but nobody was trapped or injured.
