A Castlemilk community club is £200,000 better off.
The Jeely Piece club will receive the cash boost from the Scotland Go Play fund.
The money will be used to develop a new staff team to encourage children to play outside.
Tracy Black, director of the Jeely organisation, said: “We want to get kids out into the open environment. Some kids come here and they have never even been into Castlemilk park.
“We want to help parents and kids overcome any fears they may have of playing out in the open.”
The £4 million Go Play fund was set up by the Scottish Government in 2009 to improve play opportunities for five to 13-year-olds.
The Play Scotland organisation will also get £100,000 over two years to support and develop groups offering play facilities and activities for children.
