AN artist aims to help the cash appeal for Glasgow School Of Art … with a series of dates.
John Lowrie Morrison, known as Jolomo, will donate all royalties from his deluxe limited edition 2015 calendar to the appeal for the Mackintosh Building.
It was set up after the building was ravaged by fire on May 23.
Mr Morrison, who was a student at the Art School from 1967-72 and used the Mackintosh Building, said he hoped the calendar would help keep the appeal in the public eye throughout 2015.
He said: "People have short memories and forget.
"The calendar will be on people's walls for a year. I hope it will act as a conversation starter and will help to keep the appeal alive in people's minds."
Mr Morrison said he was close to tears when he saw images of the fire on television.
He said "The Mack is very close to my heart. I want to give something back."
About £7million has been raised towards restoration. The aim is to raise £20m.
