A Glasgow-based charity is £100,000 better off after receiving a grant boost from the Scottish Government.
The Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF) will use the cash to help save the lives of people affected by the drought in Kenya.
Cabinet Secretary for Culture and External Affairs, Fiona Hyslop said: "It is vitally important that we do all we can to help those still suffering in the region."
SCIAF will also receive more than £430,000 from the Government's international development fund for a project in Zambia to support food security.
