"Limbs-in-the-loch" killer William Beggs has been awarded compensation for the length of time taken for his appeals to be heard.
The European Court of Human Rights awarded Beggs £4800 for the delays.
Beggs was jailed in 2001 for murdering 18-year-old Barry Wallace in Kilmarnock.
