CELTIC has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with electronic cigarettes firm E-Lites.
The deal will allow adult supporters to use the nicotine replacement products in the stadium on match days.
The company said its product's green LED tip was an "ideal" fit for the club and would remove any doubt that fans were smoking real cigarettes.
If follows a case in England where a Manchester City fan was stripped of his season ticket for smoking an e-cigarette because stewards thought it was a real one. The ban was later lifted.
Trevor Field, Sales & Marketing Director from E-Lites said: "Popular venues can give their adult smokers an alternative while non-smokers can rest assured that they are not being subjected to the effects of passive smoking."
Commenting on the deal, Sheila Duffy, Chief Executive of ASH Scotland, said: "We would be happier if this deal included providing information on quitting cigarettes and nicotine for good."
A spokesperson commented ""Celtic's partnership is similar to that which a number of other football clubs have recently announced."
