A Celtic supporter tried to kill a fellow fan during a vicious bottle attack.
Paul McCann lashed out at Caolan Fullerton in an apparently unprovoked assault last November.
The 18-year-old was struck shortly after leaving Celtic's Champions League clash against AC Milan at Parkhead.
McCann, 28, from Govan, is now behind bars after he pled guilty to attempted murder at the High Court in Glasgow.
The court heard how Mr Fullerton had travelled over from Northern Ireland with friends to attend the match last November 27.
After the game the two had an exchange of words in the city's Gallowgate. McCann then struck Caolan while clutching a broken bottle, leaving him permanently scarred.
Sentence was deferred until October 17 at the High Court in Edinburgh.
