MORE THAN £300,000 worth of seized goods are to be donated to a city charity.
Police Scotland will hand over the counterfeit clothing, including fake UGG boots, tracksuits and T-shirts, to Glasgow The Caring City.
The phoney products, worth an estimated £315,000, were grabbed by officers during raids on stalls at the Barras market between 2009 and 2010.
Inspector David Pettigrew of London Road Police Office, said: "Rather than destroying the clothing, we thought it would make more sense that a local charity benefit from the donation."
