AN animal charity is appealing for help to find the owner of an elderly blind cat discovered standing in the middle of a busy street.
Ruffles, who is believed to be between 16 and 20-years-old, was found in a terrible condition in Southbrae Drive, Jordanhill on Friday evening after a local resident spotted his distress.
Vets at the Scottish SPCA's Glasgow Rehoming Centre are now caring for him.
Animal rescue officer Ashley Griffin said: "Ruffles has a long coat which has become severely matted and is also very underweight.
"Being blind, Ruffles must have been struggling outside on his own so we're really glad someone contacted us so we could help him."
Anyone who recognises Ruffles is asked to call the Scottish SPCA's Animal Helpline on 03000 999 999.
