RAIL bosses are offering a two-for-one deal to Glasgow holidaymakers heading to the Lake District by train this autumn.
The GoLakes Travel Programme has teamed up with Virgin Trains to launch the offer to visitors travelling to Cumbria on the West Coast mainline from Glasgow, Preston and Lancaster.
The offer ties in with complimentary '2 for 1' deals at four top tourist attractions during September, October and November; Holker Hall, South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Abbott Hall Art Gallery in Kendal and the World of Beatrix Potter.
Rail passengers travelling from Lancaster, Preston and Glasgow simply have to show a valid train ticket to enjoy the saving.
Tickets are available for booking at www.virgintrains.com/golakes from now until November 29.
