A CHILD was taken to hospital after being hit by a bus on a busy road.
The young boy, whose age is not known, was injured by the vehicle in Glasgow Road, Paisley, Renfrewshire, at around 4.40pm yesterday.
It is understood he may have been hit by the back of the bus.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the boy was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in the town.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said his injuries did not appear to be serious.
She said: "We were called to reports of a child being injured by a bus at 4.40pm on Tuesday.
"The child was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital."
