A GLASGOW picture house has been chosen for the UK premiere of a film documentary about a degenerative brain disorder.
The Grosvenor Cinema in Ashton Lane will tomorrow screen Alive and Well, which tells the story of seven victims coping with the life shortening chronic neurological condition Huntington's disease.
The film is being shown as part of the 25th anniversary of the Scottish Huntington's Association and is directed by Cannes Golden Lion winner Josh Taft.
The association's chief executive John Eden said: "It's a brilliant honour for the producers to give us permission to show the film as part of our silver jubilee celebrations."
