A GLASGOW composer who has written scores to smash-hit films, including Limitless, has been nominated for a prestigious international prize.
Paul Leonard-Morgan was shortlisted in the World Soundtrack Public Choice Award 2013 for the music he composed for the film Dredd.
The 39-year-old, who has won a Bafta and been nominated for an Ivor Novello, will now have to wait for the public to vote for their favourite film soundtrack of last year.
Dredd, a British-South African science fiction action film directed by Pete Travis and written and produced by Alex Garland, hit the No 1 spot in the UK box office charts when it was released last September.
Paul, who lives in the city's West End, wrote the score for the movie, which became the first 18 certificate film to top the chart in two years.
He was praised for the "angry electric guitar, hyperactive drum patterns" and bass.
