GLASGOW'S finalists in a national appren-ticeship awards scheme have been revealed.
A railway worker, shipbuilder, hotel chain and the council are among those short-listed in next month's Scotland's Modern Apprenticeship Awards.
A record-breaking number of nominations were received for this year's awards, which are organised by Skills Development Scotland
The finalists will go to a ceremony in Edin-burgh's Assembly Rooms on November 5.
