DOZENS of Glasgow businesses have made the shortlist for top national business awards.
Big names in the city, including the SECC, Barrhead Travel, Entrepreneurial Spark and the Evening Times' parent company Herald and Times, have been shortlisted for Scottish Business Awards.
Former US president Bill Clinton will deliver the keynote address at the ceremony on June 21 in Edinburgh to 1400 guests. More than 140 firms have been shortlisted across 18 categories including Entrepreneur of the Year, CEO of the Year and Employer of the Year.
Liz Cameron from the Scottish Chambers of Commerce, based in Glasgow, is shortlisted as is Amanda Mcmillan, managing director at Glasgow Airport, for the Deloitte Female Entrepreneur of the Year.
Organiser Josh Little-john, 26, said "We are astonished by the unbelievable array of companies participating this year."
