AMBULANCES in Glasgow are reaching patients faster than anywhere else in Scotland.
Crews have maintained their average response time to the most serious life threatening calls, despite an increase of almost tn per cent in such incidents over the year, figures show.
The Scottish Ambulance Service's annual review reveals average response times across the country remained at 6.5 minutes in 2013/14.
Greater Glasgow and Clyde had the fastest time of six minutes.
Overall, crews responded to 105,200 potentially-life-threatening emergencies within eight minutes, up more than 8,000 on the figure for the previous year.
