City slumps in energy poll

Glasgow has come bottom of a table of the most energy-conscious households.

The city lagged behind residents in the north east, according to a poll by the Energy Saving Trust.

Almost a third (31%) of adults installed or considered installing renewable energy systems in their home in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Angus and Dundee.

Highlands and Islands came second with 29% and Fife, Perth and Kinross and Stirling all came third with 26%. Glasgow is last in the table with 18%.
