GLASGOW Caledonian University has been ranked among the top 20 UK universities for health research.
The university's position as a world-class research institution has been re-affirmed by the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) results.
The Institute for Applied Health Research works in areas including stroke, MS and diabetes, HIV and sexual health, addictions, violence and public risk.
All of the University's impact submission for Allied Health Professions was judged to be in the highest categories, ranking GCU as one of the leading universities in the UK for the societal impact of its applied research in health.
