A TEAM of city workers have been named winners of the 2014 Corporate Raids.
Employees at the SSE office in Glasgow city centre raised cash for Poppyscotland and the 2014 Scottish Poppy Appeal.
Team captain Roy Dale said: "The SSE fundraising team are delighted to be able to support Poppyscotland in their annual Scottish Poppy Appeal.
"We are proud to support such a great cause, particularly this year given the 100 year anniversary of the World War I commemorations."
Launched in 2011, the annual fundraising event has seen Glasgow companies collect more £30,000 by allowing their employees to volunteer for a day of fundraising.
Stephen Shirres, Poppyscotland's Community Fundraiser West, said: "The SSE team showed real commitment and they thoroughly deserve their trophy.
"We're always looking for more companies and people to get involved and we hope to make next year's Corporate Raids the biggest yet."
