The 15 politicians claimed cash for travel, hotels, meals, office costs and equipment and telephone provision.
The highest claim in Glasgow was Patrick Harvie, Green MSP, who was paid back £26,144.
The lowest claim came from Drew Smith Labour MSP at £14,682.
Mr Harvie's claim was £773 pounds higher then James Dornan Cathcart MSP and there were nine MSPs above £20,000.
The Green MSP had a bill for £5,700 for postage costs from the Royal Mail,
He said: "My hotel bill was higher last year because of the timings of my committee meetings, but that has been reduced this year with fewer overnight hotel stays needed.
Mr Harvie, being a Green MSP, cuts his taxi costs and carbon footprint down by claiming £26.40 for a four weekly bus ticket for use in Glasgow.
He added: "I hardly use taxis only if working late at night and I have even stopped claiming for the bus pass this year as I have bought a bike."
While others including Labour Leader Johann Lamont and SNP MSP Bob Doris claim for taxis to take them between their homes and the train station.
Ms Lamont's taxi bill totalled £1609 for the year.
Glasgow MSPs either claim for overnight hotel stays in the capital while on Parliamentary business or claim extra in travel costs back and forth.
Hotel costs range from £70 a night charged by SNP MSP Bod Doris and SNP MSP Sandra White to £111 billed by Ruth Davidson , Patricia Ferguson and James Dornan.
Labour MSPs Paul Martin and Hanzala Malik drive on most occasions and charge motor mileage of up to £45 per day for a 100 mile return trip.
The expenses showed some frugality with John Mason buying a pair of headphones from Pooundland and claiming back the £1.
Mr Doris had the lowest single claim ever.
He claimed for 2p for advertising costs in a matchday programme with Glasgow City FC.
The highest MSP claimant in Scotland was Liam McArthur LibDem MSP for Orkney at £46,931 with higher travel costs than most mainland MSPs
The lowest was Lothians MSP Margo McDonald at £2626, with little travel or hotel costs with her constituency being close to the parliament.
MSPs claimed £12.2 million in expenses last year, down by around £500,000 on 2011-12, new figures show.
This represents a 4.35% fall before inflation is taken into account.
A Scottish Parliament spokesman said: "The decrease in expenses of more than £500,000 is a reflection of one-off election costs in the previous year but also that 2012-13 represented year two of a two-year pay and expenses freeze for MSPs."
