HOLIDAYMAKERS were taken down the yellow brick road at Glasgow Airport when talented musicians performed classics from Hollywood musicals.

Musicians from the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) presented a surprise performance of The Wizard of Oz to passengers and staff at the Glasgow air hub.

They performed a catalogue of tunes from the movie favourite and were even joined by Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Lion.

As part of Glasgow Airport's Best of Scotland event, the RSNO entertained business travellers, tourists, and staff with musical excerpts from beloved movies The Wizard of Oz, E.T. and Star Wars.

The performances saw the orchestra being led for the first time by newly appointed RSNO assistant conductor, Jean-Claude Picard.

The airport launched the campaign to celebrate the tastes, sights and sounds of Scotland.
