THREE HMV stores in the Glasgow area are to shut as part of nationwide closures by the struggling music chain, it was announced today.
Administrators Deloitte revealed 66 shops across the UK would shut, with around 930 staff affected.
Branches at Glasgow Fort, Silverburn and Braehead, are expected to close by April, with around 40 jobs at risk.
City stores in Buchanan Street and Argyle Street will remain open.
