Coma Scot dies in Dubai

A SCOTTISH chef has lost his fight for life after he was left in a coma following an assault in Dubai.

Martin Carr, 33, from East Kilbride, who had been put on life support following the assault last month, died two days ago.

His family had raised over £7000 after launching an appeal to fly him home.

It is believed Martin was pushed by a stranger during a row after leaving a taxi, he hit his head on a kerb and never regained consciousness.
