A desperate family are today searching for a granddad who went missing from his home.

Michael Jennings, 72, from Moodiesburn, was last seen early on Wednesday.
His family and friends have rallied to help find him and are appealing to members of the public to help them.
They say the disappearance is extremely out of character for the family man.
It is thought he may still be in the Greater Glasgow/Lanarkshire area and may be driving a silver Suzuki Grand Vitara, registration number SD13 MEU.
A spokeswoman for the family said: "We are desperate to find Michael and would ask anyone who might have seen him or his car to contact the police.
"We miss him terribly and are beside ourselves with worry. We just want him home with us."
Police were alerted after Michael disappeared from his family home in North Lanarkshire at 5.30am on Wednesday.
He is described as white, 5 ft 6  ins and has a stocky build.
He has blue eyes and short grey hair. He is usually clean shaven and sometimes wears glasses.
Michael also has tattoos on both his forearms.
Sergeant Stuart Corbett of Cumbernauld Police Office is leading the police search for Michael and also appealed for anyone with any knowledge of Michaels’s whereabouts.
He said: "If you see him we ask that you contact Police Scotland on 101."
