POLICE are appealing for help to trace a man who has been missing for months.
John Campbell, 44, of Carlisle Road, Crawford, South Lanarkshire, was reported missing by his parents in December.
He was last seen at the Post Office in Annan on August 15 last year.
Police said John, who is also known as Sean, has gone on solo camping trips in the past but has never been away for this long.
Sergeant Andy Hastie of Lanark Police Station said: "Despite extensive inquiries and searches carried out since John Campbell was reported missing to police, there have been no further sightings of him.
"As the family has not had any contact with Mr Campbell for a number of months now, they are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety and wellbeing."
