A DERELICT house is to be bought by East Renfrewshire Council.
The privately-owned property in Divernia Way, Barrhead, has had a dangerous building notice served on it.
All attempts to get the owner to repair and maintain the house have failed.
Convener for housing, Councillor Danny Devlin said: "This property is a real eyesore."
