Kilmarnock Sheriff Court heard that Robert McGill, 35, died after a platform he was working from toppled at Kilmarnock Academy, Ayrshire on April 6 last year.

Mr McGill, who had worked for East Ayrshire Council for 18 years, had been repairing lights at the time.
