PLANS for a new headquarters for West Dumbartonshire Council will go on display at a public meeting next month.
Around 500 council staff are set to move from their current base in Garshake Road to a new office at the site of the old academy building in Dumbarton.
The new office will restore an existing derelict A-listed frontage of the old Academy building.
The council says the move will significantly reduce the size of the office space used by the council, save £400,000 per year, and provide a catalyst for further regeneration activities.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday December 3 from 6.30pm at the Burgh Hall in Dumbarton.
