EAST Dunbartonshire Council's ground-breaking work with people in the community living with dementia has been highlighted at the Alzheimer Europe Conference in Glasgow.
The council has the highest proportion of older people in Scotland and was praised for working in partnership with other agencies to help more than 2000 people in the area who are living with the condition.
