COUNCIL bosses have made a commitment to help stamp out discrimination against looked-after youngsters.
And as a first step towards this East Renfrewshire leaders linked with Who Cares Scotland to sign a pledge and make clear our commitment.
The pledge has been shaped by local looked-after children and the services and staff who support them.
The campaign is supported by the Scottish Government and Association of Directors of Social Work.
Council Leader, Jim Fletcher said: "East Renfrewshire takes its corporate parenting responsibility very seriously and we think it's very important to listen to the views of our looked-after children and young people about what we are doing well and where we need to improve.
"That is why we are asking all of our council services to sign the pledge."
