A HAPPY couple returned from their honeymoon looking forward to seeing their official wedding photos.

But to their horror, they received a letter from photography firm Norma Ann telling them the company had gone bust.

Last week the Evening Times revealed the company had stopped trading and that brides claimed they were left out of pocket for money they had paid for wedding photographs.

Lorry driver James Graham, 36, of Castle-milk, and civil servant Siobhan McGinley, 36, from Lennoxtown, had booked the firm, based in Glasgow's West End, nine months before their big day. They paid £1400 for a storybook of 50 photographs which they were to select on their return from honeymoon.

Instead they got a letter telling them not to worry, they would receive a "beautifully edited", high resolution disc of their photos worth £995 within two weeks. Siobhan said: "At the bottom of the letter it said 'please don't worry, you will receive your disc within two weeks. If you don't, please contact the number on the letter'.

"I went on to the phone straight away but it rang out.

"We have phoned repeatedly but nobody is picking up. We have beento the shop but theshutters are down and nobody is around."

Siobhan described her wedding as "fantastic" and the best day of her life, and said she was happy with the photographer.

She added: "I was initially angry about the money because I had paid £1400 but what concerns me now is that I might never see the pictures."

The only photos Siobhan and James have are images taken from a mobile phone.

Nobody was answering the phone at Norma Ann Photography when the Evening Times called.
