TWO rush hour road accidents caused traffic chaos for drivers.
Four cars were involved in a crash on the M8 westbound shortly after 5pm while a second accident on the south side caused tailbacks.
A collision last night on the M8 Westbound at junction 17, near West Graham Street, caused major delays.
Road users were warned to expect significant hold ups on approach to the incident after junction 18.
Police were called to the scene to deal with the incident. It is believed no one was injured during the crash.
Elsewhere, a road accident near Prospecthill Circus caused delays for drivers on Prospecthill Road.
The accident happened at around 6pm last night.
Police and ambulance crews both attended and one person received a minor injury and was treated at the scene.
No diversions were put in place as police were able to clear both scenes quickly.
